My Irish grandmother, who was her village’s herbalist and midwife, initially introduced me
to this realm of knowledge. Although I went on to receive a bachelors degree in business
administration and human resource development, and worked for a time as a corporate
executive, I had to follow my spirits calling. After receiving training in herbalism and
magical traditions, I wove together my passion and study of the Earth, humanity, history
and mythology, magic and healing with my college and corporate experience, creating a
new tapestry for my life. The teachings of the people of power that I studied with, form
the hearts core of my own philosophies, and I pray that I pay them the honor they
deserve through my work.
In my 25th year as a practicing and always studying herbalist and earth priestess, the
tapestry that I weave is to serve spirit. I bring with me the experience I’ve gathered and
joyously continue to create a house for the light of Brighid, my patroness to dwell in, and
for those who are moved to have an empowering place in which to hear their own spirit’s
voice.
