HOLISTIC ANATOMY AND PHYSIOLOGY: understanding the basic functions of the
Nervous, Respiratory, Digestive, Reproductive, Cardiovascular, Urinary, Reproductive and
Musculo-Skeletal systems their relationship to one another and their correlating plants.
MATERIA MEDICA / MATERIA MAGICA: the medicinal and spiritual gifts of the plants.
Chemical constituents, physiological actions, emotional effects, habitats, specific uses and
formulations, focusing on the herbs utilized by our ancestors.
THE POWER OF THE ELEMENTS AND THEIR EFFECTS ON HEALTH:
correlating the elemental aspects of the plants and the body systems.
THE ECOLOGY OF HERBALISM: proper harvesting techniques to maintain the balance in
Nature. Working with astrology and the phases of the moon to ensure optimum effectiveness
and proliferation.

This correspondence course can be taken by mail or through the Internet and includes a
monthly phone consultation and assignments. A Certificate in Celtic Herbalism is awarded upon
completion.
